Djembe is a musical instrument that originated in Africa. It is of two types, Animal types, and man-made types. The animal-type djembes are made by cutting the animal skin. Then they cut the wood and attach the skin in such a way that they match using ropes and screws. Now the 2nd type to make a Djembe is the man-made way. They make a coating and get wood. They paint the wood and cut the coating and then they attach ropes and screws. Djembes are long and help make big sounds. They mostly come in black or brown in color. It can make 50 different types of sound. Its price range is from Rs.2500-10000. Let us know how they make a sound. It can make different types of sounds. The sound depends on us. If we put our entire palm on the instrument then it will create a dub sound. If we hold it within our knees and take it up it will make a huge sound. If we put it on the ground it will make its normal sounds. We can play different types of beats like tribal or Punjabi. We can play it for entertainment or passion. You can take it on musical shows as it is very portable. Some of the famous Djembe players are Kamoudou konate and Adama Drame.
