Ajanta Caves: 2000 year old history
You will witness gorgeous artistry and Indian history at these caves. What is more surprising is that these caves are over 2000 years old. No wonder, they are not just well-known in the entire world. They are one of the UNESCO World heritage sites.
Ajanta caves. There were around 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave temples along with finely carved sculptures. There are some incredible historical paintings there.
Cave no. 1 seems like a movie with Murals and paintings depicting phases of Buddha‘s life.
Whereas cave no. 2 has beautiful ceilings with designs of birds, fruits, devils, and flowers.
