Komodo dragons are the largest, heaviest lizards in the world. Komodo dragons are found only in Indonesian islands named Rintja, Padar and Flores, and of course the island of Komodo. Baby Komodo dragons climb up the tree to protect themselves from adult komodo dragons. They remain up in the trees until they are four years old when they return to the ground and can then live up to 30 years old.
